Alex Crisses and Insight Venture Partners Staff Focus on Furnishing Resources that Help Entrepreneurs
Alex Crisses, with a strong academic education in Economics, now works to help clients through his role at IVP. He and his colleagues there center on helping entrepreneurial companies by helping them better use their resources. When not working, Alex Crisses dedicates time to charities, including “Minds Matter”, which helps underprivileged high school students. Minds Matter’s goal is to make a difference in students’ lives and to be a force for positive change.
Alex Crisses, through his volunteer work has helped the not-for-profit institution Minds Matter in their fundraising efforts and the establishment of their varied goals. The organization focuses on programs designed to help high school students from low-income families (and who have excelled in their studies) prepare for entry into a college or university program. Minds Matter accomplishes their goals in this area through three separate programs. These are their Sophomore Program, the Junior Program, and the Senior Program. Alex Crisses, active in assorted charitable causes, devoted his time to fundraising efforts for the NYC based charity as a past Director of their fundraising committee.

Knowing that education is vital to future success in many areas, he provides his time to this not-for-profit that helps high school students from low income families center on furthering their education through attending college or university. Minds Matter helps students who have achieved academic success in high school prepare for advanced education to serve their career goals.
Alex Crisses Insight Venture Partners contributed to Minds Matter as their former Director of Fundraising. He commits to the ongoing efforts of Minds Matter (mindsmatter.org) as they strive to help high school students with good records of accomplishment prepare for college. Knowing that 100 percent of Minds Matter graduates received acceptance to a 4-year college or university is the inspiration that helps him and others carry on supporting the foundation’s efforts.
Alex Crisses of Insight Venture Partners continues to center on infrastructure software and Internet investments to contribute to clients’ strategic plans for growth. He also focuses on fundraising and other activities that advance the goals of Mindsmatter.org, and other charities. With his “away from work” time devoted to these causes, he works to contribute effectively to these charitable foundations’ overall goals of providing rich support to all who need it.
